The film “Robots” is sure to be a big hit with your pupils. You could build upon this excitement by incorporating linked activities into your curriculum. This great site has some fantastic ideas and worksheets.

Once the pupils have thought about their virtual robots and created their virtual circuits why not get them to make a robot and replicate the circuits using Inventa and Tronix.

They could make your Roamer(s) into one or more of the characters in the film, write a short story (keeping to the characteristics of the robot as portrayed in the film) create a storyboard and then enact the story. Video it and put it on your school website. Yours could rival Hollywood’s!
