Why not dress up Roamer(s) as your favourite book character(s) and program it to enact (part of) the story.

Some suggestions:

Goldilocks and the Three Bears
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Beauty and the Beast

Or maybe you could make up your own story for a favourite character eg: Dogger, Stig or Tinkerbell.
