Welcome to the Tronix page.

These pictures were taken at Putauaki School which is in Kawerau, a Bay of Plenty New Zealand North Island town, during a 2.5 hour workshop on basic electricity and circuits using Tronix with 10 -12 year old students.

We looked at the Technology Curriculum Electronics requirement Strands A, B and C. Following the use of Tronix as part of Strand A (Knowledge and Understanding) we set a task using that knowledge for the children to design and make a night light using LEDs in a simple switched circuit.
