What is the teaching plan based on?

The teaching plan is based on a survey of typical scope and sequences used by publishers. You will notice that we have given you the opportunity to use your textbook scope and sequence as a plan. This means the activities will supplement the work you are doing with your textbook. If your textbook has not been included please contact us and we will add it to our work list. If your school district has a teaching plan for all the schools in the district please contact us to discuss adding the plan into your options.

Does this correlate to standards?

Yes: the basic correlations are to the NCTM standards. We also correlate to Texas and New Jersey. We are in the process of correlating to the state standards and will publish these in due course. The next to be published will be Washington State and California. Please contact us regarding your State if you wish us to make it a priority.

If you use Classic MathAmigo you use a Docking Unit connected to the computer. It simultaneously transfers data to 6 units. The Docking Unit is part of the system. Palm and Dana use the HotSync process. Various wireless solutions will be on offer by June 2005.

The system provides both formative and summative assessments. The formative method uses color patterns so that you can spot the strengths and weaknesses of individuals, groups or classes. You can export data into other reporting systems.
